This residential interior project was conceived as a refined yet highly personal environment for a creative director, balancing visual discipline with emotional warmth. The design language is rooted in contemporary minimalism, expressed through clean architectural lines, restrained color palettes, and carefully curated lighting. Open-plan living spaces are anchored by sculptural furniture and custom-built elements, allowing each zone to feel distinct while remaining visually connected. The use of track lighting, linear fixtures, and modern chandeliers reinforces the architectural rhythm of the ceilings, creating a layered lighting scheme that supports both everyday living and moments of presentation or reflection.
Materiality plays a central role in defining the atmosphere of the house. Dark textiles, soft rugs, and matte finishes are contrasted with warm wood floors and illuminated shelving, producing a dialogue between intimacy and precision. Feature walls—such as the backlit shelving system—serve both functional and narrative purposes, showcasing objects that reflect the director’s identity and creative journey. Private spaces maintain the same clarity and calm, with natural light, minimal furnishings, and subtle contrasts enhancing a sense of focus and retreat. Altogether, the project presents a composed, modern home that embodies creative leadership: confident, curated, and quietly expressive.
