Architecture is not merely the result of an individual’s personal taste or creativity; rather, it is a discourse between all existing currents and the point where we stand today. Currents and ideas do not form in a vacuum; they embody the legacy of all past events, narratives, and experiences in the present moment. When the evolution and flow of ideas become unclear or distorted, works at moments of rupture cannot maintain a coherent structure connecting what came before and what follows after, leading architecture and art into a state of delirium.
Yekom Office, in an intradisciplinary effort, has created a network of connections by bringing together ideas and potential and actual forces. Collaborating within this network allows the formation of a contemporary direction in architecture.
Whenever a project emerges at Yekom, we seek to create an environment where team members, in connection and collaboration with the network that supports ideas and thought, can reach a unified meaning through dialogue and cooperation.
